It’s time to talk about my favorite thing in the whole world…The Coop Pillow! I have gotten pretty much everyone that I know to purchase this pillow because it is seriously THAT good!
When I say the Coop Original Pillow is the best pillow in the world, I truly stand by it. I’m going on year 5 of owning this pillow and it is just as good as day 1. And if I ever need a replacement? I’m buying the same exact one! This is absolutely one of my favorite products in my home.
What is the Coop Original Pillow?
The Coop Original Pillow (aka The Loft Pillow) is a fully adjustable pillow that is filled with a blend of shredded memory foam and microfiber fill. If that’s not enough to capture the pure comfiness of this pillow, let me tell you, it’s like sleeping on a cloud.
The pillowcase is made with ultra-soft material. They call it a blend of bamboo-derived viscose rayon and polyester, but for your purposes, this allows for maximum amounts of breathability and softness. And yes it is the softest thing you can possibly think about sleeping on!

The Not So Good

Construction
The Coop Original Pillow is made up of 3 components: the fill, the inner liner, and the pillowcase.
The Fill
I’ve already talked a lot about the fill, but the memory foam allows the pillow to contour to your head and neck for support, while the microfiber adds loft for that cloud-like fluffiness.

The Inner Liner

It’s also machine washable, so whenever you wash your sheets, simply remove the pillowcase and throw it into your washer too!
How Long Does a Coop Pillow Last?
I can only speak from personal experience since my husband and I have had our pillows longer than anyone we personally know.
So far we’ve had our Coop pillows for at least 4 years, so if you take great care of it, you can have it for quite a few years!
With the fact that you can machine wash the pillowcase, and you can continue to adjust your pillow with the filling as your sleeping needs change over time, I think this pillow could last you a VERY long time!
The main reason you replace a bed pillow is that they start to go flat. The difference in longevity between a normal pillow and the Coop Original Pillow is that, like I said before, you can just throw the Coop pillow back in the dryer to fluff it back up!
The fact that you can do this an unlimited amount of times and it always comes back good as new will make your pillow last for years. No more flat pillows!
I will say, now that our pillows have been used and thrown in the dryer several times over the past 4 years, the fluff is starting to feel a little stiffer. So we will probably end up replacing our pillows relatively soon!
When to replace Coop pillows? The answer in my experience is every 4-5 years, which is still an impressive run for one pillow!
