Choosing a rug for your space is like asking yourself to decide on the entire vibe of the room! Even though it may seem intimidating, a carefully chosen rug can pull your space together and make it look complete. Because of this, it’s one of my favorite pieces to shop for online!
However, shopping online can sometimes be difficult because you aren’t always sure if what you fell in love with in the pictures will actually arrive at your house the way it looked online. But don’t worry, I have purchased every single rug in my house online so I know all the BEST places to shop.

Amazon can be a great place to buy rugs – you just need to know where to look! My recommendation is to look for certain trusted storefronts on Amazon to make it easier like Loloi or SAFAVIEH. These brands always have high-quality rugs with a TON of reviews! Plus, Loloi partners with brands like Chris Loves Julia and Rifle Paper Co. who make super cute options.

Target is a classic! They always have the cutest decor, especially from their brands like Threshold, Studio McGee, and Hearth & Hand. I have purchased so many rugs from Target and I have loved every single one. You really can’t go wrong with a Target rug!
3. Rugs USA
I swear by Rugs USA! They have a HUGE variety of options to choose from with a ton of different sizes. It may take a little bit of time to scroll through their big inventory of rugs but they have a ton of cute options where you can filter from type of room, color, washable vs non, and size!
4. Joss & Main
Joss & Main is one of the biggest furniture brands in the world and is a Wayfair brand so you know they have a TON of good options! I purchased the Bronwyn Beige/Brown Rug for my outdoor patio and absolutely love the way it looks with my outdoor set.
They have a ton of unique options that would be very pretty in any home or apartment!
5. Urban Outfitters
If you want to look for eye-catching and trendy rugs, I would definitely browse Urban Outfitters. They have the most unique rugs that would be super fun in a more vibrant house or apartment! I always have a good time looking through their selection!

6. Lulu & Georgia
Lulu & Georgia is an interior designer’s dream – all of their pieces are truly gorgeous! The only downside is that they’re definitely on the pricier side. However, if you find a rug that you absolutely love, it could be a good option if you are feeling like splurging a bit!
7. Serena & Lily
Lastly, Serena & Lily is a great place to purchase rugs. They have beautiful, high-quality options that are truly stunning. They are definitely the priciest on this list but if you are looking for a rug that will last you a lifetime, Serena & Lily is the way to go. Their light and airy vibe would look good in any home!
