1. Clock
When you’re in and out of meetings all day, an office desk accessory that is going to keep you on track is a clock!
I love this digital clock because it’s so small and sleek, and it does what you need it to do – tell time very clearly haha.
Something I could totally see my husband getting if he was still working in a cubicle is this word clock that spells out the time. It seems like such a great conversation starter, and a fun office desk accessory to show off. Maybe a little less efficient for getting you to meetings on time, but this office desk accessory idea is all about the fun!
2. Playstation Controller Icons
If you’re a video game fan, this office desk accessory is a MUST. I think these Playstation controller icons are so cool – you could not go wrong with either option! Go the light up for more of a vibe when the office turns into game mode. Or stick to the traditional wooden look for a sophisticated office.
3. Laptop Riser
Have you been experiencing neck pain lately? Well if your laptop isn’t at eye level, then that might be a good place to start!
This laptop riser will get your laptop a few more inches up off your desk so you’re no longer looking down to see the screen.
Monitor Riser
Just like your laptop, your monitor should also be at eye level. The wooden look is a great option for a stylish, modern accessory for him. Or you can get out your DIY hat and build one for cheap like we did with my husband’s home office for his two-monitor setup!
4. GRID Technology Desk Decor
If you’re looking for some sweet men’s office desk decor, you need to check out Grid Studio. They sell framed components of old technology – from gaming controllers, Gameboys, iPhones, iPhone processing chips, old cell phones, and much more. You can lean the frame against the wall, or hang it on the wall behind your desk.
These are some of the best desk accessories that you’ll find! What guy wouldn’t love this??
5. Desk Mat
When thinking about the best office desk accessories for him, you’ll definitely want a desk mat on your list of upgrades! A desk mat makes your desk feel a bit more organized, between your keyboard, mouse, drinks, and other items you want in your immediate space.
Oh and did I mention the best part? You can toss out that tiny mouse pad that you continuously have to readjust because this acts as one giant mouse pad. My husband and I both have desk mats in our home offices, and they are so nice!
6. Pen Holder
Something you just might not think about when upgrading your desk is a simple pen holder that looks nice!
You don’t need anything flashy, but it beats continuously losing pens to your desk drawer. This black aluminum pen holder will help you stay organized.
7. Pens
If you have a pen holder you need some executive-level-looking pens to put in it! These super nice stainless steel pens will look really nice in that new pen holder. Now if only there was an accessory that would keep your co-workers from stealing all of your nice pens! 🤔
If you are looking for something a bit more casual but still really high quality, these Sharpie pens are where it’s at! I have used these almost exclusively for the past 5 years since they are just that good! They write so smoothly and last a SUPER long time.
8. Headphone Stand
Nice headphones are essential while working – 8 hours of silence is not fun. Or you can block out your noisy co-workers if you’re in the office. 😏 But nice headphones need a home! The first style is minimalistic and comes in black or white, while the other option is a true piece of decor with its walnut finish.
Need a nice pair of headphones for that headphone stand? My husband, and by default myself lol, will never get anything other than the Audio Technica ATH-M50X. These are Bluetooth headphones but they sell a wired version with different color options. The sound is wildly good and for half the price of the Bose QuietComfort.
9. Mouse
One of the best office desk accessories for him, or really anyone who wants to make their life easier, is this Logitech MX mouse.
It’s definitely more expensive than your average mouse, but it has so many features that, depending on your job, will make your life SO much easier – specifically involving Excel! This thing has an infinite scroll, so one flick and you’re scrolling super fast through all of those spreadsheet rows.
Another amazing feature is the side scroller by your thumb making it ridiculously easy to scroll side to side with no extra effort.
Plus, it’s an ergonomic fit so your hand will be in its natural position all day long! It stays charged for months on end, so you’ll never have to worry about batteries or cords slowing you down again.
10. Black Globe
For the history buff or someone who just wants a cool piece of desk decor lol, this globe is it. The marble base makes this piece a tad more higher-end than other globes. Plus the blacked-out globe just looks awesome! One cool office desk accessory for men.
11. Keyboard
We talked about a nice mouse for your office desk accessory upgrade, so it’s only natural that we also talk about a nice keyboard to pair it with!
The Logitech MX keyboard is the perfect addition to the mouse. It is made specifically for comfort and precision, and has backlit keys so you never miss a button!
12. Speakers
If you’re looking for a little bit more oomph than your average laptop speakers, you have GOT to try these out. I have them and they are not only stylish for any office desk, but they sound good too!
All you have to do is plug them in via USB and pair your laptop or phone to get the beats going. Definitely, one of the best office desk accessories for him, while being really affordable!
If you’re looking for a lot more oomph, then you’re absolutely going to want to look more into these speakers. When thinking about stylish office desk accessories, these get an 11 out of 10. The extra oomph comes from the included 8” subwoofer! The walnut finish is just stunning.
This may not be one for the cubicle, but a must-have for any manly home office. But I’m not stopping you from bringing the bass to your cubemates LOL.
13. Charging Station
When you’re working at your desk, it might be a good time to charge all of your accessories. Between your phone, watch, and AirPods, this charging station is a perfect way to charge them all at once!
It’s super compact and takes up barely any space on your desk, which is important for keeping your desk nice and tidy. They have different versions out there too if you’re an Android user, so there’s something for everyone!
14. Funko Pop!
A “Funko Pop!” is one of the ultimate men’s office accessories. You can find just about any of your favorite movie characters, artists, or sports players shrunk down into this tiny piece of decor.
15. Gorilla Grip Office Chair Mat
Every office needs an office chair mat especially if your office setup has carpet. The worst part of sitting at an office desk with a swivel chair is not being able to move around freely. This Gorilla Grip 36×48 Office Chair Mat was the perfect addition to my husband’s home office setup for that exact reason! I have one in my office too that I absolutely love!
I highly recommend this brand if you are in the market for an office chair mat. One of the best parts of this mat is that it comes delivered flat and is not rolled up in the packaging. This is super nice because you can use it right away and you don’t have to worry about it bending, cracking, or curling in on itself!
It’s also made out of really strong, 3mm thick durable material and is meant to last years and years to come.

16. Under Desk Light Strip
Alright, time for a fun office desk accessory – the light strip! We are all about fun, colorful lights in our house to set the vibe for every time of day. Colors greatly impact your mood, focus, and stress levels.
For more of a vibey office, attach this light strip under or behind your desk and nearby shelves for the coolest office setup.
At our house, we’re fully integrated with Philip’s Hue smart lights, so if you’re in the same boat or interested in Philip’s Hue, check out this option.

17. 27″ HP Monitor
If you’re looking for upgrades to your home office space, you should definitely consider a 27″ computer monitor as your main monitor – this HP 27″ monitor in particular. If your desk will be in the middle of your room, the back of this monitor also has a nice white finish that keeps your desk looking professional and sharp.
The ideal distance to sit away from a 27″ screen is roughly 20-30 inches. If you have a 30″ deep desk, this size monitor is perfect for you. Especially if you are currently leaning in to read your screen!
18. Candle
The best home office is a home office that smells good!
If you’re going for more of a decor piece than for candle’s sake, get a nice-looking candle that looks strong, bold, and brings luxury to your office. Black and copper together? *chef’s kiss*
When designing your desk with all of your new office desk accessories, don’t pass on this one!
19. USB Hub
Technology is great and all, but the more you have, the fewer USB ports you’ll have free. This USB hub gives you more ports for more fun and makes life easier.
I’m sure we’ve all been there where you have to unplug something to plug something else in. This solves that issue! It’s important to note that this is not a charging port, this is simply for connecting things like a mouse, keyboard, printers, etc., to your computer.
20. Smart Bulbs
Specifically, color-changing smart bulbs. 😉 And to go with your light strips from earlier!
Philip’s Hue bulbs are extremely cool! My husband paired them with the IKEA Fado lamps that seem to go in and out of stock A LOT. If going the Philips Hue route, you must have the bridge (the white square-looking thing that comes with these) connected to your router.
You can also go the Govee route (the second option) – it’s a popular brand that I just don’t have experience with. But they seem to be a much more affordable option when it comes to smart lighting. Our house is a fully integrated Philips Hue home since that’s what we started with lol.
21. Desk Lamp
This adjustable arm desk lamp makes for one of the best office desk accessories for him. The slate grey with the copper accents would turn any home office into a studious-looking space.
It’s really a beautiful lamp, the only negative I read is the placement of the on/off switch being a bit further down the cord than most would prefer – but if you can handle it, I think this desk lamp is a great addition to a manly office!
If you’re looking for office desk accessory ideas for men a little more up and out of the way, this lamp might be a good second option. It’s extremely sleek, adjustable, and has the cool feature of wirelessly charging your phone.
22. Small Plane
A simple, yet nice addition to desk decor is a small plane. Sit this on top of a stack of books for some elevation. They have these in just about every airline – so be sure to pick your fav! No delays here. 😉
23. HP Docking Station
One of the most useful office desk accessories is a docking station. Especially for those who have multiple monitors. This HP docking station has a built-in USB-C cable that connects your laptop to your monitors and charges it at the same time. Be sure to check out the ports in the back and buy the correct cables for hooking up your monitors. The Amazon Basics brand makes some cheap ones that do the trick.
My favorite part is that this docking station has such a minimalistic design. It hardly takes up any space at all on your desk, and all you have to do is plug in your laptop and you’re good to go! No more moving your laptop into a million weird positions to lock it into a bulky dock.
You can easily switch between a MacBook and PC with the USB-C cable.

24. Small Lego Set
Legos are WAY more fun when you’re an adult lol. And why not incorporate a fun small Lego set into your desk decor? This PAC-MAN one is awesome! Or you could go for a car or any other small set that they offer. I wish Legos were this cool when we were kids.
25. All-In-One Organizer
This is one of the most functional desk accessory ideas, the all-in-one desk organizer.
This thing rocks because it keeps all of your desk supplies that would otherwise be crammed into a desk drawer organized in one place. The design is compact, and stylish, and will barely take up any space on a large desk!
26. Stapler
This is a pretty simple desk accessory for him, but a desk is simply not complete without a stapler. This one is more for aesthetics because staplers mean business, but I’m not sure how many times you really need to use a stapler in your work environment.
With that being said, the one time you need a stapler and don’t have one, you’ll think about this post! 🙂 A chrome stapler is a bold office accessory to set on a man’s desk. Almost like the cherry on top, if cherries were that cool lol.
27. Mini Desk Vacuum
Yes, you read that right! This is a tiny, battery-powered vacuum that lives on your desk. They also have two different versions: one that charges via USB, and one that has wireless charging on top for your phone!
If you’re looking for men’s desk accessories that will “wow” the crowd, this will probably spark everyone’s interest. But for your own sake, it’s pretty useful to get any little particles off your desk!
28. Wireless Charger
If you’re going to be sitting your phone down at your desk while you work, you might as well be charging it! While you may have a million and a half chargers in your home don’t we all lol, this one works really well for on top of your desk.
29. Waste Bin – of course!
Every desk needs a waste bin. Whether you’re working from home, or in an office, you’ll want to skip the walk down the hall to toss out your trash. When I was in the office, I was upset I didn’t think about this sooner – the trash can was so far away from my desk haha.
Although it did get me away from my desk, I would rather be intentionally going for a walk than taking my trash for a walk down the hall!
30. Accessory Organizer
For items that temporarily live on your desk throughout the day, such as your phone, sunglasses, etc., this accessory organizer will keep it all out of your way while you work.
There is something about wooden elements in men’s offices that just have that extra spark. They look so good – especially when incorporating other complimenting elements such as dark colors and black and gold accents
31. Bonus – Office Chair!
The last idea I have on our list of best office desk accessories for him – is an ergonomic desk chair that is probably going to save you years of back pain down the road!
When it comes to health, my husband and I absolutely invest in it! When we started working from home, we both had very basic chairs that hurt our backs and necks daily. 8 hours is a long time to be sitting in a chair every day that’s doing nothing to support your back!
Herman Miller is the top of the line when it comes to ergonomics, comfort, and making sure you’ve got support in all of the right places. This is the brand you’ll commonly find in most corporate offices! After a year of using our terrible chairs, we decided to invest in really nice chairs! My husband and I both have a Herman Miller Mirra 2 chair and they are seriously so comfortable and supportive throughout the work day.
If you want to do your future self a favor regarding back pain, neck pain, and posture, seriously consider investing in a really nice office chair! They will last for years compared to subpar chairs that will continuously need to be replaced.
For my husband’s configuration of his Herman Miller Mirra 2 chair, we got it fully loaded so he could adjust all aspects.
He went with Graphite for the base, Graphite for the color, and the butterfly suspension back!
